Went for a nice brisk walk along the front with my cousin who lives in Seaham. Beautiful cake and coffee to get cosy before carrying on with our walk. Hope to visit again next time we're in town??
Popped into this lovely little place today for the first time. Wish we’d tried it earlier. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, who couldn’t do enough for you. Good menu and delicious food. We had ginger and lemon cake which melted in the mouth, superb! And tuna melt panini....delicious . We’ll be back for sure. So pleased we found this little gem.
Great place for coffee and food. Everything is homemade and nothing is too much bother. The shop at the back of the premises is an added bonus

Our 1st visit to the Black Truffle Coffee Shop & we will be back. Had to wait to be served as it was so busy, but we were quite happy to sit & relax. We had Americano, earl grey tea, cheese & tomato panini - which we shared) so we could have carrot & pecan cake, coffee & walnut cake - All delicious. The staff were great & very friendly. Glad we stopped by.
Or lovely cafe home cooked produce excellent quality. The added bonus is they have a lovely clothes shop through the back of cafe lovely ladies gifts.
Called in for a gourmet sausage roll and a tea. Excellent sausage roll made with pickle and sage and onion stuffing and the cakes look great.
